Many innovation blogs & stories tend to focus on the later stages of a new project, such as the developing of solutions, pitching for funding etc.  But very few focus on the raw beginnings: the emotional side experienced by the origin innovator, the fear, the excitement, ambition & self-doubt.

How an ordinary person, not already an 'innovator' thinks and goes about moving from just spotting a problem and not knowing what to do about it, to kickstarting the solution phase.  Many potential innovators and inventors quit here at this point because they may feel lost or think they have to be 'experts' already.

MED-INNOVATE is a dedicated site for the early origin innovator.  This space has been created to help those people who have spotted a problem and may feel they don't have permission to develop their ideas or simply don't know what to do at this early stage.  By sharing my own innovation origin story: LEAFix,  I very much hope to inspire and encourage potential problem solvers who may be reluctant to take those first steps and instil a bit of confidence and encouragement in them, to go for it!

My name is Matt and I am the origin founder of the LEAFix innovation project. I've created this website with the sole aim to provide support, inspiration and information to help people develop their own innovation ideas and to navigate these unknowns with more confidence at the very start of their innovation projects.
