My name is Matt. I am the founder of MED-INNOVATE and Concept Founder and co-inventor of the airway securement device, LEAFix.
I'm also a practising NHS Anaesthesia Associate, with over 20 years’ experience spanning both the finance industry and the operating theatre environment. This combined background has shaped my approach to problem-solving and innovation within healthcare.

Support & barriers to beginning
Many Origin Innovators never get out of the blocks with their ideas. What are the mental barriers putting people off, their first small actions, emotional support, how to observe problems better, how to live with the unknowns at the start.
I know exactly what it feels like to be stuck in no-mans land with an idea that you are certain could be developed into a solution, having been there for over 10 years. I want to share what I've learned the hard way to hopefully help you push on and navigate your way forwards with your own ideas.
